I would be interested in your results. As I mentioned in the other thread I'm still trying to figure how to combine the OR concept with the EOD (end of day) concept. ACD is along the lines of my trading style, but intergrating in swing trading (vs day) is not so simple.

yes, it is the weekly level. But, my question was does it have potential to be an effective OR ?

@Maverick74 or anyone else. I'm trying to incorporate some of the principles of the ACD method to my swing trading (or visa versa). I use ATM options with 7-18 DTE on only those ETF's with the most liquid options that are showing some trend and/or vol. I started looking at the high low range...

I do see a potential value of the price action, volitility and bias of the method.

Ok, looking at chart again did the NL go negative before the chart ? Is this the purpose of NL?

So I still have my bear call 241/243 spread open, getting beaten up pretty bad. Expiry 6/16. Normally would have taken loss at 241, but entered a long 242 call expiry 6/2 Theory..spy rally continues post Memorial Day then pulls back before expiry on my spread. we'll see.

@baggerlord @mav74 Very elementary/ignorant question....looking at this chart it broke support on 5/11, same day NL went neg. I've noticed this before on others posts on using NL, so what is the advantage of NL over straight charting ?.

I know this is a different animal but ATM options on TLT are very liquid and trade well

Fri pm 2 bearish trades with TIGHT mental stops.... Long Puts QQQ atm 2 week expiry, for retest of recent low Bear 241/243 SPY call spread 4 week expiry, thinking political crap continues But, definate up side risk if crap dies down, market wants to go higher on fundamentals, hence tight stops

Took profits on EWZ puts and GDX calls. Probably leaving vig on table but traveling rest of week and don't want to deal.
