This trading phrase comes from a wise and old dutch trader. During his career he had tremendous success. I'm glad to have worked with him. Well that' s what he always said: Better sell if you can, not when you have to.

One more thing. My performance for January is right now 50% due to some Eurex DAX puts. Bon voyage. :p

I was Nok Eurex calls long, which made more than 1000% with very small investment. Apart, I use calls, naked calls, puts and naked puts on all US-options exchanges and especially Eurex as well. Trading a mix of stocks and these derivatives IMHO makes the difference. Still: 85 trades...

There is one guy from the Netherlands with an outstanding 54%!!! He made 100+ trades and has a 6 figure account. So he's the real master.

Thanks, Aaron. Hope, I'm not shouting here while I'm just one step away from the clip. Whenever one gets euphoric, he is just on the best way for the next big drawdown that will teach him the next big lesson.

Already thought about that. I will reduce trading size from now on and carry bigger cash positions. :)

Number of transactions: 85 (so far). I trade stocks out of DOW, NAZ 100 and DAX and options on these stocks. No small cap things. Account was leveraged, always numerous positions, but overall account was long/short neutral. What is your average win if you write an option and it expires...

My mom told me, not to talk about money. As mentioned rather fish than shark. :)

IMHO not enough commas. I suppose I'm a rather small fish in comparison to some sharks in here.

Of course, if I would always trigger SL, like some professionals in here, I probably wouldn't reach such a result. :D

46,9% is maybe not that impressive, but I was mostly long/short neutral in equity and reached this result with lots of trades(Ok, there were some options in Nok), but anyway no big exposure to one side. What is your performance so far in 2004?
