Proflogic, Spike... Looking at today's closing, is that a lower high to short or a higher high to look for long trend now? Not looking for accuracy just trying to follow along here. what would confirm that price will not go down anymore? higher supports?

CBOE has backdated what the new VIX index would have been in the past.

Silk, You can check out HISTORICAL DATA at www.cboe.com, which is where the calculation comes from. Also they compare the new vix versus the old vix (vxo). The data goes back to about 1986, I think that is when its calculation began.

Who do you guys use to trade these foreign markets?? I, too, am an insomniac and often consider trading foreign markets? 4 hours of sleep is plenty.
