I believe you have to get a T1 for that, and depending on where you are it can run you from 400/mth to over 1k/mth. You can't get a direct connection using the public internet. .

True. I had to go back to March '04 to find a corresponding price. So there goes the Sunday theory. Maybe someone who is familiar with EBS can confirm/deny whether or not participants have access to the full depth of liquidity or only a few partners like other ECNs (you know, not all Currenex...

Haven't figured that out yet. I'm getting the impression that they could do some tyoe of prime account. The fact that they clear through FCStone tells me that it may be possible, but maybe not on this level. If you start with the fx account, I might be able to get the prime thru fcstone w/o the...

Thanks for the heads up about these guys. They seem promising for guys who are looking to trade a true pro platform; I can get on just about any professional platform, including EBS with as little as 250K. I'd need 5 mil just to get prime to use FxALL otherwise.

Sample EUR trade of a 3 pip trade: BID 1.3471 ASK 1.3474 You bought 1 lot at 1.3474 (the ASK). On a platform where there are no commissions, you just have to sell for the price you bought it at. You sold 1 lot at 1.3474 (BID you would need to break even, based on 3 pip spread, ask at...

No. It's a good firm with one of the best trading platforms out there. Professionals use it as well. Rates are good and they will help with membership if that is the route you want to take. Don't be taken in by the low intraday margins otherwise you may find yourself overleveraged. All firms...

It's free access to get on, but all you really get is the short attention span version of print, which is in itself the Readers Digest version of, what..., something. No substance. Unless you are looking to buy the next useless, decadent gadget.

yeah, now I see it. It's their ECN version called Accelor. I can see how they are trying to go retail like Currenex and Hotspot, but what I found that was a turnoff was their focus on the word "potential", in other words this could be awesome, but it is not at present. It seems that to get...

http://www.capitalforex.com/fx_all.php (unless it's an old link and they haven't updated their web page - possible since their Baxter screenshoot has Baxter's old web addy) What type of leverage did they offer you for their Currenex?

I notice that Capital Forex Pro offers FxAll to clients as well as Currenex and some others. Did you see the spreads on that screenshot? If those numbers are for real, then they definitely deserve a look. I wasn't aware it was being offered to anyone other than prime accounts. Curious tho as...

    IB new forex spreads

Bumping this thread: How many current liquidity providers does IdealPro have? And who are the participating dealers? With other ECN platforms, I can get that information, but i can't seem to find it on IB's web site, unless I am missing something. Does anyone else have a link to this info?

Will IB provide access to FXMarketSpace?

Supposedly IB will integrate their platform to access Fxmarketplace, but don't know how they would make it accessible to the average trader. According to FxM's FAQs, it is geared toward net worth individuals of 20MM+: http://www.fxmarketspace.com/faqs.html#_3.3 pricing however looks nice...
