    IMO ....... 5% monthly is unrealistic. With a $1 million account I would buy & hold dividend paying stocks and withdraw the dividends.

    You are from Canada correct? Canada switched over to the metric system about 40 years ago. Hows that working out in the building materials and real estate industry? You would think after 40 years they would be using the metric system - but they are not.

    Could you explain your post? I always thought that shorting stock did put downward pressure on stocks. Elon Musk blamed all the short sellers on the poor performance of TSLA a couple of years ago.
