    Portfolio Planning DIYT or advisor

Buy and hold ETF's or individual stocks and collect the dividends. Keep the number of stocks to a minimum. IMO .... you don't need more than 10. Buy only one stock for each sector/industry. Pick an ETF and buy the top 10 stocks. Don't micromanage the portfolio.

What's a decent max profit for a credit spread?

IMO ....... Both positions have very low odds of being profitable. If you are good at picking the direction a long option position is far better than a debit spread or credit spread.

    short term, OTM options

Did you watch the Big Short? He was long puts on the mortgages and when the mortgages dropped substantially the puts actually also dropped a bit. The market makers tried to squeeze him out of his position knowing that he couldn't hang on much longer. Very good movie.

What's a decent max profit for a credit spread?

The odds of that 1:1 R/R Credit Spread being profitable are very low. To get that R/R you are ATM and most likely close to earnings - not good.

It depends on your view of the underlying. What do you think NIO could be trading at on June 25? You could be a seller or buyer.

I don't think you can trade options in a cash account.
