    Grmn

I couldn't believe the price this was trading at this morning... at that price GRMN is a gift. I dropped 10k and bought at around 103. I went to grab a drink of water and came back and I was up $400. Wow.

    Warren Buffett selling a stock

Warren Buffett didn't sell anything, berkshire did, read the article. There are numerous shareholders in berkshire that invest in stocks without Buffett's knowledge or blessing... especially when it comes to reinsurance float.

    GRMN makes me sick

I'm waiting for this thing to pull back a bit and then I'm gonna load up and hold till Christmas time... I feel dumb for selling this at 108... this is a Christmas play that you should let run. The demand for GPS devices is nuts... cars, airplanes, boats, camping, fishing, pretty much...

    an apple goof I did

It's just not smart to short stocks like these unless you're sure there is some bad news coming their way... they are very speculative and get a lot of media attention and jump up defying logic... In the long run, if the stock is overvalued it will eventually go down, but there's no sense in...

I guess Bush has plans to save the day and bail out the housing market as soon as he is done with the war in Iraq and rebuilding New Orleans...

EPCC is MNCS The saga continues

This is a good example of how a heavy reliance on math and trends is an advanced method to go broke. If past price trends could tell you anything about the future price of a stock, then the forbes 400 consist of historians.

    CFC tanking

Shareholders get paid last in a bankruptcy situation... so BOA won't see a cent until all other obligations are met(except common stock). And if CFC had tons of valuable assets laying around they wouldn't be in the mess they are in now. I'd rather be short on this than long... but I think...

    CFC tanking

CFC is definitely in trouble on their own merit, but there is a good chance they will get bailed out by the fed or bank with money sitting around. Bank of america won't sit back and let them go bankrupt now that they have a $2 billion stake.
