    Trader P/L 2006

Was red 5 bills even before they rang the damn bell. So I'll take the end result happily. edit - Woah just noticed I had 21 winners against 34 losers. That's a tad crappy. Seems some of the numbers on my blotter are a tad wonky, but the net is correct.

OK, I knew if I racked my brain long enough I would remember the name of the club. It's called 'Shampoo'. Mgarc, I inboxed you a link to the site There's lots of cool stuff around the Obelisk down Lavalle St around Florida & Tucuman Streets, stuff like musicians, comedians, tango...

Was there a year ago. For the best steak you will ever have in your life go to 'Los Inmortales' on Lavalle St. Also there is a club in the Ricoletta district (sadly I forget the name of it) with the hottest chics in the world. Ask around and try to make it there. Have fun. :)

    Swift Trade Canada/Hong Kong

Swift has been beaten to death on these forums but that won't stop me from throwing my 2 cents in. Swift is a great place for a beginning trader. Where else can you learn on someone else's dime and make hundreds and thousands of trades per week? Doing all these trades greatly speeds up your...

    Money can't buy happiness

Maybe the two of you (coolweb and Electric) could just have this 'chat' on msn and spare us all ruining a decent thread. red

    Non Farm Payrolls

Is this not the most useless economic number released every month? Today the Labor Department reported that 138,000 thousand jobs were added in April, this fell well short of the 200,000 that was forecast. Would anyone be even remotely surprised if next month this number was revised...

Please, adjust the First Lady's medication....

I really dont know why this is so hard for people to understand. Yes Kerry voted for the war then voted against it. Do you really think it is that cut and dried? He voted yes to use force against Saddam Hussien. He then voted no to the spending bill to fund the war when the bill that was...

    Jury Blows It

I have always wondered what was up with the whole 72 virgins thing? I mean if you sacrificed yourself for the almighty wouldn't you just rather have 6 or 7 pros? Red

    Trader P/L 2006

Had massive connection issues today. Geez it was like being back at Swift. Then when things got stable I kept getting hammered. Horrible ratio today. Without the tech probs would prob have finished around flat today instead of getting served a big shit sandwhich mmmmmmmm.

Pretty happy considering my ratio sucked big time. Same as yesterday took some good scores and side stepped some rapes. Good times. :)

Maria Bartiromo, how did she get the special info from BSB?

Bernanke is simply a fool for talking about this subject with a TV reporter. Never in a million years would you have seen Alan Greenspan do this (and yes I do remember his irrational exuberance statement). Greenspan was very careful/ambiguous with his comments so much so that he put me to sleep...

Pretty happy with today. Was able to take some pretty nice scores and avoid incoming rapes. Though I see we have a retard running the Fed. He probably noticed how his comments last week crushed the dollar and had to back peddle like crazy. Should keep things interesting though.

Is this a Joke?.... Refco in the Broker ratings of ET

I especially like the guy who on Nov 11th 2005 said ...... "RefcoFX was a scam and there are others out there. " then on Dec 21 2005 said ......... "The most honest of all the Forex brokers. Very good customer service, friendly too." What a tool.

    favorite guitar solos

For the best solo I'd have to go with "Fool in the Rain" by Led Zep. Apparently when this was being recorded Jimmy Page was completely whacked on heroin. When it came time to record the solo they woke him up shoved him into the booth gave him a guitar and slapped some headphones on him. What...

so how did you end up becoming a trader?

Many moons ago I was an electronics technician and found myself working for a complete jackass (unbelievable what wonderful inspiration that is to move on to something better). One time they sent me to Toronto for some BS training. Well I was there over a 3 day weekend so I decided to bugger...
