    Tony Oz - CD Course?

The CD course is the equivalent of listening to a book on tape or watching a movie instead of reading a book. However, in this case of non-fiction, there are advantages to this as imagination isn't as necessary. The material in the CD course is quite similar to the material in the book and I...

    Tony Oz - CD Course?

are you Merc? I enjoy reading books about the market. I've never attended a seminar or course or spoken in person to anyone about trading or strategies. I learn best from books. This board has been the only contact I've ever had with other traders. That being said, I would not say that...

    Tony Oz - CD Course?

The first book has a very non-book tone to it, written more like an instruction manual of sorts. It was written during the huge tech boom, so many of the graphs and examples show stocks moving from 120 to 250 in very short timeframes. In other words, they are unrealistic for today's markets...

    Tony Oz - CD Course?

I own all three books, the CD course, and the video. The video is pretty much worthless. The CD course rehashes much of what is found in the "Take Money From Wall Street" book, and illustrates some of the concepts. The first book keeps rising in value so I'm hoping I can sell it along...

    Color fades to B&W

I actually think that, to quote a popular Microsoft tech support saying, "this behavior is by design". It does it on mine, too. (XP Pro)

Unable to Use eSignal behind a Firewall

I am using Loophole successfully with MyTrack and TWS. The key may be that you may not need SocksCap (I don't). You can set things up on the localservers tab in Loophole. The guy from loophole is excellent for support and can help you if you know what port numbers you need.

    Is news necessary to trading?

I have been doing much better, all things considered (like market strength, etc). I used to ignore great setups because they'd be in a "weird" company like a Brazilian Hospital and be more apt to take less-than-great setups in companies I'd heard of. Or, I'd see a great setup and see...

    Is news necessary to trading?

Not only do I not read news, but I don't even look at the names of the companies I trade. Symbols only. I don't want to be biased.
