Good point. One of my long term goals in the trading arena is that when I make it big...i.e 1MM++ a year in profits. Is to start my own fully backed group. I really want to train and fund new prospects. Not some snake oil shill book seller seminar type....but me and 5-10 traders in my office...

Its not really a risk free option. If you have ever blown up before you know that the psychological aftermath can be very difficult to recover from..even if its not your money.

Just to clarify. The offer came from a small BD with a proprietary trading group. Not a prop shop. I dont even get close to 1 million shares a month. Trading 1mm it would be more like 30k. I play small and swing big...1-3% of equity per position, wide stops and points. Not .01-.05 per...
