TradeStation - give me the real picture

Tradestation's data is, generally, excellent. As a charting platform, it's o.k., but runs second to the other EasyLanguage-platform, MultiCharts.

Microsoft Extends Support for Windows XP To 13 Years

Folks -- Just turn off all the Aero shit on Vista, then shut down the indexing features, etc., et voila, you have XP. It's not that big of a deal.

eminidaytrader.com - anyone ever use it?

The bullshit alarm goes off when I read, on their website that, "the copyright [for their software] was issued in 2004 by the U.S. copyright office." FYI, the US Copyright Office does not "issue" copyrights the way the U.S. patent office issues patents. You can register, for $10.00, original...

    Thinkorswim vs. Tradestation?

This is a little like asking whether Wendy's is better than Red Lobster. Depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for the best options analytics out there, and customer service not to be beat, ToS is a no-brainer. If you're looking to program/backtest directional strategies...

The T day theory states that on days beginning with the letter "t," markets go up (as they did today) -- unless, of course, they go down (as they did on Tuesday). All-in-all, a marvelous theory.

Is anybody out there an expert with TWS' BookTrader?

Thanks for your response. As it turns out, however, BookTrader does all these things (including fully adjustable stops/targets). The IB customer service person (who was, much to my astonishment, amazingly patient and helpful) walked me through all the necessary set-up. Has I.B. upgraded...

Is anybody out there an expert with TWS' BookTrader?

Well, I have and do. At the same time, I think it's good trader "hygiene" to know how to use your broker's front-end, just in case somethng goes haywire with the third-party app.

Is anybody out there an expert with TWS' BookTrader?

If so, can you tell me if there is a way to enter a bracket order directly on the price DOM (as opposed to clicking the BUY or SELL button). I see one can enter an entry by clicking on the price ladder, but I'm wondering if it's possible to enter an OCO stop and target at the same time, as with...

The best and the brightest only

Actually, you wrote, (ungrammatically, I might add) "serious inquiries will get response." If English is not your native language, you may be interested to know that this sentence conveys a meaning at variance with the one expressed by the statement "serious inquiries only." If, on the other...

I've spent little time with EuroFx...certainly not a one-to-one correlation with ES during RTH. Is it more effective in the overnight session?
