    Too young for options imo, but you could start teaching her about stocks in some fun way. If she doesn't have an interest in stocks then you won't have success teaching her options. An 8yo could maybe start to understand options in a basic way.

    Day trading realistic expectations

    Your mistake is trying to calculate how much you can make, instead of how little you can lose. You are still in the daydreamer phase of how easy trading seems. Once you break even for a few months come back and ask again.
