    Broker against profitable strategies

 well they're not going to be mirroring the losers..

    Broker against profitable strategies

They don't need a lot of capital to mirror futures traders. They could do it with a thousand or even less. There's no reason not to do it with daytraders IMO

    Broker against profitable strategies

I'm more interested in knowing if brokers mirror the trades of successful traders. Why wouldn't they?

    Review of One up trader

In my experience, OUT's support team is laughably worse than TST, but because OUT seemed to have a better "leave you alone" attitude toward funded traders, I leaned toward them more. I understand their need to not let traders cash out 100% of profits on new accounts, because of what someone...

    Review of One up trader

I believe if you close the account you get all of your profit, but knowing these companies there might be some kind of rule for people closing accounts repeatedly or something like that. If you do ask them and find out please share that information here

Is it time to throw in the towel?

I'm in your same boat, though I don't trade stocks. If your strategy is solid you will get there. Work on yourself though, rather than the strategy.

Is it time to throw in the towel?

some major advice I'd like to give you, is to not hope for anything. Learn how the markets move from a technical standpoint, find out the trades you like, and trust them as they will continue to work the same way as they have for decades. But you should not be in any trades where you don't...

    NQ, seriously?

Typical technical move, honestly. I was expecting AAPL to at least hit ~160-161 during this earnings, based on my TA from a few days ago. I don't even trade stocks, but I was asked about AAPL last week and that's the only reason I looked at it for this release. Buy signal generated 3 weeks ago...

    NQ, seriously?

I've never seen a move that was not backed by technicals, but to each his own

What to do with my life?

Oh well I'm not saying something like everyone can do it and everyone who does it alone is going to be fine. I know it's a very small percentage, I'm giving OP the benefit of the doubt. If he can't do it he will find out shortly. I'm also not saying they don't exist within Finance, I know some...

What to do with my life?

If you have absolutely no capital, sure, but this guy said he made 80% in his first year. Even if that's 80% of 20k, that's enough money to trade your way to any life through options and futures. It might take another year or two or three, but if his strategy is good, he's fine. Success is based...

What to do with my life?

It was truly entertaining to see so many alleged traders argue over whether a stranger should be risking over 2% on their own trades. Good luck OP, I understand your predicament as I'm in a similar situation myself. What I've been slowly realizing though over the years is that working for a...

    Here come the bears?

oh right, that would make sense, but that just means there's another support to get to anyway.

    Here come the bears?

What's broken about them? I'm curious how technicals are failing, as I've never seen that before.

    Review of One up trader

Wow I didn't realize the threshold was that high, which is pretty annoying from the trader's point of view if they have any idea what they're doing. I was hoping to make ~1-1.5k and withdraw 1k to cover my costs of the program and then some, so I guess I'll have to plan differently.

    If in doubt...stay out.

If you're not certain you shouldn't take it (unless you are gambling). The biggest thing that separates good from bad is discipline.

    Review of One up trader

I think you can. But they told me this: The threshold is set as a reserve and as security to the funding partners and to secure the longevity of the account. The funding partners don't want to fund a trader and allocate resources if their sole purpose of the trader is to close their account, but...
