Took out a loan to transition to full-time trading. Now 27 years old.

Agreed. Fresh MBA grads from top b-schools (HBS, Stanford, Wharton, etc.) get roughly $250K package right out of the gate. This includes base, sign-on bonuses, etc. After a few years, $500K-$700K is not uncommon. These are NOT partner level. Partners comp runs well into the 7 and 8 figures...

    Explaining the USO ETF

USO is not a good direct exposure to oil. UCO is more direct but also risky as well since it'x 2x. SCO is 2x bear oil etf.

JUNE CL Contract - Trading Restricted at TD Ameritrade Mid-Day

I was trading the June contract on IB. It was wild. Luckily, I came out of it relatively unscathed. But it's not for the noobs and faint of heart.

I want to buy Oil, what is the symbol, exchange and contract?

Thanks! Thank god I never hold USO over night else it would have been a total disaster. I only scalp intraday. Did 3 scalps total. Pre-market and at market open. Up $3251.69. I could have held it longer but it's progress not perfection! :)

Barstool Sports founder switches from gambling to day trading during coronavirus — and he says he's

LOL. Have you guys seen his videos on Twitter where he cussed out after every bad trade? Hilarious. Also he's a guy with $ and no edge. https://www.businessinsider.com/barstool-sports-founder-dave-portnoy-tries-day-trading-and-loses-2020-4

I want to buy Oil, what is the symbol, exchange and contract?

In and out of $USO this morning on a few scalps. Up $1080.19. Done for the day since I have non-trading activities(i.e. work) to do. Crazy times! ROFL

I want to buy Oil, what is the symbol, exchange and contract?

USO trades even very differently from the June contract. June is down and USO is up(intraday from the open not from Friday's close).

My point exactly! I rather have a ATM spitting out cash flow all the time which will adds up and has constant and fixed risk than try to compound it to infinity. After a while, I will have an excellent track record than I can scale it up 100X using OPM with no risk to my capital. ;)

I realize what consistency is. I follow the same process each and every time that's why I'm able to generate consistent profits. So my consistent profit is the result of my consistent methodology not the other way around! In fact, many time, I use max leverage 4x for many trades b/c the edge...

That's a distinct possibility, but I hesitate to say I'm fully there. I'll explain at the end. I've withdraw a decent chunk of $ from my winnings so far these last few months. I like to withdraw to pay bills. It's a good ka-ching feeling as well. Also, there's risk of losing the gains and not...

im Simons' Legendary Medallion Fund Up 36% In 2020, Expects More Volatility Ahead

The other Rentech funds are LONG TERM. This tells me it's very difficult to build long term predictive models. Too many exogenous events can happen. Medallion is intraday to a few days at most. That's the sweet spot for Rentech.

For years, I was a stupid countertrend trader. Short the highs and buying crashing stocks. That was the MAIN cause my account blow-ups. I would be up , up, and up. Then one big countertrend trade would wipe me out! In some cases blow up the entire account. That was a bad trading demons that took...

im Simons' Legendary Medallion Fund Up 36% In 2020, Expects More Volatility Ahead

But Universa doesn't have 66% annual return for the last two decades or whatever. LOL. Universa only makes money in a crisis black swan event and lose money most of the time.

I know where you are coming from and thinking. That would normally be true for other traders. but my style is DIFFERENT. Very different. Since you are talking about honesty, most of my profits came from trading for profits as small as 1 penny/share!!! Yep, you read that right. 1 penny/share...

im Simons' Legendary Medallion Fund Up 36% In 2020, Expects More Volatility Ahead

Jim Simon's Rentech beating all the other hedge funds(quants or not) again. Genius. The one quant manager I admire the most on so many levels. A supergenius academics. Chern-Simons theory is used in superstring and other areas of modern physics. Deep thinker. A philanthropist too. Articulate...

Green almost nearly fcking day in Feb and March with very low risk. Once you have spent thousands of hours, then you'll realize what a real edge is. I've been through a lot. Blow-ups, losses. ups and downs. It's been a very long journey. So, I'm saying it's all possible. Just keep workin' at...
