I think you'd have to utilize IB API to fully automate what you want, either via DDE in Excel or Java.

Paintbars within QT is rather limited. I am looking to implement a much more complex system, hopefully using QT's API and send orders to IB.
I have looked into samples on QT's site but these are minimal samples...was hoping to find a more comprehensive sample.

Completely agree with eSignal's datafeed problem when volume is heavy...
If quotetracker has some sort of script language like EFS, esignal will be out of business...anything out there that uses another datafeed but has charting and script language (other than TS and neotick)?
