    ES Journal Archive (2009 - 2010)

BOJ to hold emergency policy meeting @5:00 a.m. GMT. Correct me if I am wrong, but that should be 12:00 a.m. EST. Might get things moving in the ES. I'm guessing JPY down, USD up, and ES down. Or, could be much ado about nothing. Popcorn will be ready in either case...

Manhattan Luxury Condos Try FHA Backing in Sales `Game Changer'

From the article: "In New York City, the priciest urban U.S. housing market, the FHA insures loans of as much as $729,750, and permits buyers to borrow up to 96.5 percent of the price". So, if the units are priced from $800,000-3.0MM, how is a prospective buyer going to get an FHA insured...

Laptop turns on but nothing on the screen

Does it sound like its booting up? HD light on and flashing like normal? If not, it sounds more like a bad MB. Had that happen to me on a Dell 1720. Bought a MB on Ebay and replaced it myself.

    Bill Miller says buy.

Wow, really going out on a limb there. Market goes up, "Hey, I'm a genius". Market goes down, "Hey, I told ya to use caution". People pay you for that advice?

    Pictures of your trading stations

Computer hardware will not determine the degree to which you succeed in trading. Successful trading cannot be purchased from a technology retailer, and some may argue that it cannot be purchased at all.

Your Thougts on Real Estate Commission

In the last 9 months I have sold 4 houses. All with a realtor. Three of them were under contract within 10 days of listing them. The fourth took about 3 months. I paid 5% commission in each case. What did the 5% get me? Exposure and experience. Don't need either one? Then don't pay for...

Is it a Boom or Inflation, Meltup

Interesting, yet depressing video. Apparently no one in production bothered to proof it though. 36.40 minutes, they start talking and showing the graphic of how it would take $100,000,000 at BOA, JPM, C, WFC for a retiree to earn $50,000/yr. in retirement interest income. Say what? I know...
