    I think the bird flu issue is overblown. May happen in Africa . Or Far East Asia. Remote possiblity. Probably will be contained well. But not everywhere else.

    Well, I guess for every successful trader who makes 100K+ a year, there are about 9 of us who loses 30k+ a year (the rest goes to commisions and salaries and costs to support this whole trading industries) . I guess it's not so bad.

    Black Friday

    Well, Option expiry, I doubt if that would happen tomorrow Friday, But another serious down day next Monday or Tuesday, perhaps. Today was supposed to be a flat day or slightly up, but there were weakness. This indicates market really wants to go south.

    The current real estate crash (slow cooling, but it is a crash, happened before with the stock market) will force a lot of people to go broke. Interest rate will continue to rise. But stocks will go bach higher in 2008 after a major correction from here.
