    Stock Trad3r INDEX

Why not just ignore the clown instead of engaging in petty bitching with him? The subject of this thread (the ST Index) is actually quite interesting so let's keep it that way.:)

32 year cycle, down move expected in July

You could draw a similar line at the start of the last big rally. Drowning men will grasp at straws...

    Wave Five Target = 1559.09

Interesting analysis. The DJIA is looking similar now to how it looked in early April at the start of the last earnings season. There was a double bottom followed by a 50% retracement then we rallied almost 1500 points in 2 months. We reached the 50% retracement today so all we need now is...

NYSE Races to Enter Derivatives Game

Why don't they introduce a futures contract based on the NYSE composite index? Edit: apparently NYBOT already do one. Why does no one trade it?

Help me find this corn website please

I remember months ago I followed a link on this forum to a website that gave a good introduction to corn trading. It had some documents and videos on the planting and harvesting cycle, seasonal trends, the uses of corn and a few other things. The trouble is I've lost the link. It was a...

    tommorow's freefall

Stop bashing the guy for trying to predict. All trading involves prediction. You can only "react" to something that has happened in the past. You only profit if you can use that information to make predictions. Some people trade on a purely intraday basis, but they're still trading on the basis...

US Dollar smack down, .20 away from 2004 lows

You've been bitching at each other like a couple of whores for 5 hours now. Have neither of you got anything better to do?

Every big down day with futures falling further is followed by...

It's not often the Dow rallies for a week then drops 1% then rallies again the next day. Expect at least some continuation selling before the dipsters come in (if they come in).

US Dollar smack down, .20 away from 2004 lows

The dollar isn't going to collapse. It's still strong against the Yen but is weak against European currencies which isn't surprising as they're raising rates at a time when the Fed is on hold. The weakening dollar has been all part of the plan ever since the G8 started talking about global...

Wow that's a first. EqtTrdr is officially bearish. Maybe a lagging indicator but a very reliable one.

    DAX plunged +200 ticks

You didn't say within one minute. That's quite a move but then it was out of hours for the DAX so the lack of liquidity would have contributed to it.

    DAX plunged +200 ticks

This time last month would have been early June by my calculations.

    DAX plunged +200 ticks

It went down 200 points this time last month. Not such a big deal for the DAX.

    CONGRATS To all the Popsters!!!

"Let's see what happens" is great for commentators but useless for traders.
