I bet they offer it in Canada eventually. because I doubt the big 5 banks would follow anytime soon. They are too brain dead for that. IB would clean up.

IB just wants to bait and switch newbs into regular accounts. They'll probably be educating the newbs on order execution quality as time goes on via email spam. And if they don't move they just clean up on order flow comms. I'm sure they'll offer better service than the other no fee brokers...

What about if it's an insider sells a block to another party such as a mutual fund? In Canada I've come across this where it didn't print but showed up on SEDI.(insider reporting website) I believe it might be consider an "off marketplace"...

What types of equity trades are not reported/shown on the tape? are there rules I can refer to? Thanks
