    Surf Report

I don't have time for LIVE calls to please you jokers but I will give you one that is again based off of PURE TA. Just to again prove a point. Once again look back at several of my posts with LIVE calls or shortly after the fact calls. You can see my TA has been kicking the shit out of your so...

    LNR.to (TSX) ~ Bot Linamar @ $62.03 (Target $65 to $67.00)

MOS has a daily down trend formed and there is possibly a weekly downtrend forming. I traded this on the way up from $27ish to $31ish expecting a BIG breakout and it just fizzled and broke down below the rising trendline. I accept and agree that we are at strong support here but the MACD line...

Yeah,....losing money hand over fist and realizing that all the TA/PA traders out there are kicking the shit out of you in the markets for the last 6 weeks will do that too you.

    LNR.to (TSX) ~ Bot Linamar @ $62.03 (Target $65 to $67.00)

I like the chart. I hate the volume...195k/day. Good luck with trade

I am sure it's his small very small number of winning trades and ever so shrinking account size

Risking 1% of your total equity. Does this refer to the stop?

I would agree and also disagree with what JackRab has said above. Typically low volatility trades like ETF are not going to go bankrupt as he said and so can have more invested and higher volatility trades will have more chance of bankruptcy so you should put less money into the trades...

Keep telling yourself that. I profit from this sort of thinking. Where is the empirical proof that your secret method work?,...sporto.....There is NONE as your failed trades throughout ET prove. If anyone claims to be a successful with the kind of track record of poor money management...

    Edward O. Thorp on charting

Actually no I am not trolling him at all. May I remind you AGAIN that it is actually both YOU and surf that have come into the TA portion of this forum to shit on TA. As someone who uses TA I think it's well within my freedoms to call both of you out on it. Since you are his alter ego why don't...

You're a legend in your own mind, sporto,... The only independence I care about is my own account. I am an independent thinker and trader. I make my trades based on my own methods. I don't have a formal Journal like yours because I have nothing to prove to anyone. I am not here to prove or...

    Edward O. Thorp on charting

I am pretty sure that was a rhetorical question. We can all see plain as day your "trading" has resulted in 1 out of 8 wins and a martingale method of doubling down on losses has been shown repeatedly that it's a failed method. So why not stop while you are ahead on your single winning trade and...

    VDE

Well, I will take the other side of this trade. SHORT XLE at $69.84. As mentioned before XLE and VDE are virtually the same except for much higher traded volume in XLE.

Seriously?,... you are talking about $10 here. You will not get anything for waiting. Shareholders are paid LAST in a bankruptcy. First bond holders, and creditors, THEN preferred shares if any and last is common stock. Take your $10 buy a sandwich and move on.

    High probability Breakouts

I trade breakouts all the time. Sometimes I anticipate them and other times I wait for breakouts. Depending on the chart patterns and momentum and volume traded I may wait for retracement to the breakout point which happens quite often. All breakouts I trade are in the setting of a trend...

LONG Emerging Markets - LONG FXI and EEM

LOL.. I don't move the needle. I just look for where I think the needle will be moved further and faster. I already bought in yesterday on EEM and 2 days ago on FXI.

LONG Emerging Markets - LONG FXI and EEM

Even though the US equities look a little long in the tooth the emerging markets look ripe for a swing higher and starting to outpace the S&P. Todays action confirmed that. Based on purely TA. LONG EEM @ $38.64 today and FXI @ $38.26 yesterday. Trade what you see, Eganon

    The S&P has topped

Did anyone else take note of the fact that this bull market started 3-9-09 and now is making a short term top (I believe) the first week of March?
  18. E

    The S&P has topped

As stated before I believe this is a correction. Our swing higher as I stated earlier made a lower high and the QQQ made a double top. Charts are at the upper edge of a trend and showing signs of reversing. Not a new downtrend just a retracement. Looking for buy opportunities around 2300 or...

    High yield dividend portfolio

You may want to consider preferred stock shares rather than traditional stock shares. You can typically get better dividends that are almost as safe as bonds in the company and safer than stocks.

    The S&P has topped

Agree we are still in a bull market but certain sectors are starting to puke. As those sectors start to tail off it will be harder to make higher highs. So, I think a pull back is in the near future. As mentioned several times I suspect a 5-7% drop from 2400 to around 2200-2250 before we see...
