    Health Insurance for Traders

Ya know, I read James post and bit my tongue. I'm happy you spoke first. The website he provided a link to is affiliated with Net Quote. They've been trying to get me to buy their lead service ($15 for a health lead). I don't think so. Cheers, Chris

    Health Insurance for Traders

I broker health insurance (BOO!). Yes, I recognize I may be considered the scum of the earth now. My philosophy is to give as little money to the insurance company as possible. Opinions regarding some plans: Mega Life, Midwest National, NASE - Not major med. Limited benefits packages...

How to turn $600 into $100K with this proven system

I got this interesting"no risk" offer in the mail from a guy named Frank Simpson of Montclair, California. He guarantees I can turn $600 into $100,000 within 30 days trading options using his system and methodology or my money back. Yeah, right. I used Frank's prepaid business reply by mail...

    Costco to sell health insurance

It's interesting the big box stores are getting into this business. IMHO, it probably won't last unless they plan to create a back office to support their clients. In addition, in Colorado, there are no discounts for health insurance. Nobody can offer health insurance for any less than I can...

    Good Series 65 Study Materials

It's time for me to get a 65. Currently hold a 7 and 63. Does anyone have any recommendations for course materials that can produce good results on the exam? I'd like to study about an hour a day, get a good knowledge of the materials then open a test window. Any suggestions? Chris

    anti-spam software

There are numerous applicatons out there. Mailwasher looks pretty good. There's one that will send an immediate reply to the sender requesting they enter some kind of code number. When they do, the mail gets through. This is on the assumption that the spammers will never bother to do what...

    Shorting an IRA

I heard there's a way to manage your own IRA in a brokerage account that will allow you to take full advantage of the account rather than only being able to go long. Can anyone provide any details on this or point to a reference that would describe this more? The tactic is to create a LLP...

    Snake Oil Sucker: George Angell

I checked out the google references prior to posting. Based on the poll, I guess I should "run like hell." One of the poll responders asked me to post the ad. Here it is: ( ) If the image does not show up between the parentheses, it means I've removed it from the web server because...

    Snake Oil Sucker: George Angell

The headline says How to be $1,835,360 Win 95.12% of All Trades and Still Lose Nothing Even if You're absolutely 100% Wrong. He goes on to tell the story of some individuals who made it big, including a former Chicago Bears linebacker (who I must guess is Jon Najarian). OK, it wreaks of...

    TC2000 Moving Average Flaw?

I was comparing moving average lines between Esignal, Investor's Business Daily Charts, Bigcharts.com and TC2000. The 50 DMA between IBD, Bigcharts and Esignal were aligned properly. TC2000's line was a couple of points below the others. Has anyone else experienced this?

    channelingstocks.com selling email addresses?

Now that it has been spammed, I've set the redirect to send it to channelingstocks.com. I removed email addresses which are redirects so they wouldn't be listed, but since you asked: Return-Path: support@carderplanet.net Received: from ns1.accesscom.com (enter.accesscom.com [206.40.44.3])...

    channelingstocks.com selling email addresses?

Actually, I h ave several "bogus," email addresses. Very few have been spammed, this was one of them, along with Tax Cut and one other. I'm aware of the randomly generated email addresses. If this were the case, a lot more mail would be sent to anyaddress@mydomain.net.

    channelingstocks.com selling email addresses?

    Money.net sells your information

I recently signed up with NASDAQ's Level II service, a service sold through money.net. As usual there was a request on the website for my email address. I entered nasdaq.level2.com@mydomain.com. Now that mailbox is getting spammed to hell. Either money.net's servers are not secure, or they...
