Yeah, reminds me of the good old days... when people actually traded futures in the pit. I'm not complaining though. I guess MF Global hasn't ponied up the money to buy those guys new jackets yet. Now they'll probably have to wait a bit longer after last Wednesday's events have come to light.

Yes, no quotes for ECBOT. NYMEX quotes also went down right about the same time but are up now.

I was thinking this too. It is very curious that the price spiked $2 the morning they were trying to close the position down. I know they (MF) definitely lifted the market with their buying but I'm sure others got wind of it and decided to bid it up ahead of them.

WTF is going on??? This is total b.s. Almost an hour later and it is still not stable. I have no idea what the deal is but they should put out some notice or something. I wouldn't enter any new orders until this is fixed.
