I've personally seen something on the order of 1 - 3 ticks depending on market conditions. On the whole it is not too bad but I use limit orders for the most part unless it is a fast market.

Ha ha. You are pretty funny. Our markets are as free as it gets. If you think it is rigged or controlled then go try and trade in Russia or Asia and see if you do any better. I'm no fan of the Fed but policy actions and govt intervention (esp during an election year) are a part of the game.

Yes, they are pretty basic. I only have a couple of charts on my Quotecenter and mostly just for quick looks. Some of their screens remind me of mainframe terminal emulator days. Very nostalgic. :) I use MetaStock Pro for charts and Quotecenter for data not charting.

Not sure I understand your original question then. That's all you get. You can add filters and search criteria on top of it also. As I said, it is pretty "underwhelming" (see attached). I got my data about the jobs number from Marketwatch this morning not Reuters.

I've heard mention before of a negative fed funds rate. We are talking doomsday type scenarios but this Fed is getting really panicky lately.

Nice head fake after the 8:15 Fed announcement. I thought the job's number was out early for a minute. Surprised they didn't announce a rate cut. Interest rates will be 1% by the end of the year with this Fed.
