According to IB's website, the asian servers reset at 5:30pm EST. I am thinking about having my account relocated there because this timeframe is great for overnight trading as well as US day.

The midnight disconnect is separate from the Tws scheduled exit you are referring. This is an IB disconnect from their servers not anything that can be controlled from the client side.
