    Options/Futures Contracts Limitation

Don't know where to ask this question, so here seems best. Anyway, I know that investors are subjected to a limitation on the amount of options/futures contracts they can hold. My question is: are institutions, such as hedge funds, also subjected to this limitation or can they hold an...

S&P will rally 20 points in the next 2 days

Commission? Eh? Oh, did I fail to mention that? As with all services my friend, there are always commissions. Nothing is free. Holding on to the money is an extra burden I don't really have to bear. Consider it a cost of carry if you will. I normally take cash as there is no money...

S&P will rally 20 points in the next 2 days

Didn't want to say much here, but this thread amuses me. Although, I do believe that ford will probably go up as the market rallies a little over the next couple days (i think), but there is no such a thing as a free trade (with the exceptions of arbitrage, market making, and insider trading)...

Does anyone know what study is used on this chart?

Maybe I'll try to reverse engineer his strategy using his performance summary. Want to see if my system or his is more robust.

Does anyone know what study is used on this chart?

Is it one of tradestation's built-in strategies? I know I've seen it somewhere before, but I don't quite remember. The corresponding numbers (0,1,-1) next to the up/down arrows tell me that it is likely to be a built-in strategy or study. I don't have tradestation, so I don't...

Should have been more clear. I am not talking about the RSI indicator on the bottom of the screen. I am referring to the indicator on the price chart.

    Trendy vs Sideways Day

You can never predict with certainty if the market will trend or go sideways for any particular day. But you can guess with a high probability based on previous market behaviors. Generally, news tend to move the market. Earning releases month will generally be volatile. Before you trade...

Volume Spread Analysis: E-book by Tom William

This is a pretty decent e-book, which I think would be helpful to some of you. It's about 12MB, which is too big to attach here. I am not promoting anything (the book seems to talk alot about TradeGuider software though). Keep whatever is good, and throw out the rest! This is the direct...
