    Nat Gas (QG) mystery

I don't know about QG specifically. eSignal rolls over to the next contract on the last trading day: most traders do it earlier, usually onthe first notice day.

    Changing Nickname

I obviously agree with your last post. I suppose I am left with the only option to create a new account and close the current one... I'd lose current "senior member" status however... Any suggestion?

Best broker for trading commodity options?

I have traded with 5perside and I noticed some delay in reporting your fills back from the options pits. Now I am with Ira Epstein and their reporting is substantially faster. They're introducing brokers for MAN, so they should do exactly as 5perisde, still they do better.

    Grains . . .

It would be nice to compare brokers and commissions, news and datafeeds, charting s/w and so on amongst those who trade grains or other pit-traded commodities. Me: 5perside.com 10$ r/t all-in, no-frills (almost) no customer service Charting with AmiBroker and free EOD data, probably...

    CBOT Advantage vs Esignal

CBOT Advantage is the same as Futuresource's FsXtra: a good package IMHo, although you can't link the data to any other external charting/scanning software (Tradestation or else). Therefore, if you plan to chart the market with a third party program you'd better choos eSignal.

    Broker for LIFFE Commodities

I am currently trading pit traded softs with MAN, the deal they offered me for LIFFE traded commodities seems too expensive (10 $ rt all-in) considering the fact that these commodities trade electronically. Anyone has a better deal? Where?

Where have all the futures traders gone?

Grains trade electronically the night session; day session is still pit.

    CME vs Forex

IB offers only electronic markets, no pit contracts. I'd say thet options are extremely illiquid on GLOBEX so basically they're not tradable unless during daytime pit trading hours.

    REFCO commission rates

My goal was not to advertise: see on the sites I am suggesting, they're no IBs, they are divisions of REFCO. And they do have commissions on their sites.

    REFCO commission rates

www.custombrokerage.com and www.keystone-web.com are both arms of REFCO, more on the retail side, and they both have their commissions on the web.

    Intraday?

Thanks a lot for your imput. Based on your experience, could you suggest a broker?

    Intraday?

I would say that spread's size matters, instead, because it adds to your costs. Try playing FX with 5 pips, or 2 pips and see the difference! :) Overlapping bars might just depend on your datafeed: third party (i.e. non brokers) providers quote "interbank" that is they report quotes...
