Your biggest mistake is coming here to announce your intentions. My advice to you is to write your plan down on paper. Keep a trading journal, turn off all financial news. Focus on risk management rather than how to get rich.

MetsStock EOD is great for paging thru the SP500 list of stocks looking for chart patterns, it's quick and easy. Thats all I use it for.
