I used to do 100 contract orders regularly with them trying to get in on small price moves. As long as I could sell for .01 higher than I paid I could turn a profit despite the commisions. So that was definitely nice.

I have a regular account with optionshouse that I trade, I just put trades like this that I am curious about and don't want to forget into the paper account with them so I can see how they would have turned out roughly.

I love looking at these strategies. Some have some serious potential. I mean the inital post with a cost of $110 and max profit of $1000 is a pretty nice risk reward ratio. I did the first post in a paper account just to see how it turned out

No problem, keep in mind though that option trades clear overnight in a cash account, which isn't bad, but I am not sure how long it takes on the stocks. So that part might suck.

If your willing to drop the margin on your account and make it cash only that will bypass the rule completely. When I started doing a lot of intraday options trading and wasn't selling spreads much it saved me a ton of hassle. But sometimes dropping it isn't an option

Well sounds like a solid reason to avoid it. I am assuming based on all the people that trade it on here there obviously is room for some big profits once you tame the beast. I, however, have no clue about trading it. So I think sitting on the side would be best for it then.
