just join a remote prop firm so you dont have to deal with the retail BS. with retail you have be deal with PDT rules, margin rules, etf rules, no have no decent buying power, you pay high commissions, no MOC imbalances etc. go the prop route

the b/d still needs to send over your U4 to the SEC. It will depend on how many U4's they have to process or if you have any issues with your U4 (complaint, arrests etc) after you send in the completed u4 Id say 2 weeks or so. maybe more or less. just really depends -double check to make...
