    Java question

Actually, it sounds like to me that it is running IE's default browser and the applet is specified with a regular <applet> tag, not an older version of Sun's browser. So, within IE, you need to go to the Tools->Internet Options... menu, and then go to the "advanced" tab. Roll down and...

    Newbie question for froex traders

I have been looking at dukascopy the last few days, and the numbers correspond well to Esignal's feed (although at a 10-sec update rather than esignal's stream). Anyone have experience with the free dukascopy data? http://www.dukascopy.com

    Hv & Iv

I believe tradestation does: http://www.tradestation.com/strategy_testing/position_analysis.shtm I believe Esignal does not, but may do so in the near future. Ensign is dependent on the data feed, and of the datafeeds for Ensign that I'm aware of, none of them supply IV or HV...

    November 2003

I agree...I am surprised by the euro's continued climb from a technical standpoint. Originally, I was looking at the previous top around 1.1855 on the daily as a double top, and I was expecting a corrective rally back to the double-top's low point at 1.1544, or perhaps the 20p EMA a little...

    The Perfect Option position

First, I really enjoyed this thread thanks everyone for contributing. As a newbie with options, I'd like to know more about position management...legging in, rolling months over, and exiting both when things have gone well AND when you've made a mistake. Strategies are excellent to cover...

    News source with RSS feed?

One minute refresh is probably pretty rare for a non-pay service. RSS is pretty intensive for a server, hence all these syndication sites. But check the xml that is returned by the link, and inside that XML you'll see the refresh time. Here are some more found on the Quotetracker website...

    Jpomerenke's Trading Journal

I do read your journal. I'm glad you have been so consistent, and that in and of itself is why I keep reading. I'm not trading equities though, so I have little to offer. Here's a question for you...you've consistently been making in the couple hundreds per week. What's your next steps...

    No More 200:1 Leverage

Hey bro...what has been said is true in alot of ways...with futures or forex, the money/contract is only a bond. So, it's not really that important, save that now, if you are not making $, you will only be able to trade down to $200 instead of $50 before refilling your account. With $1/pip, you...
