Not being a TS user, what is the prevailing opinion about the platform vs IB?

From what I can tell, You select the chart and the go to the menu icons above. You then select the one which has two green arrows pointing in a circle. It seemed to work when I tested FNM. I didn't test anything else.

What does it mean when they say "closing prices will be determined by referencing their respective market conditions?" Does this mean that the last price on globex will be the settlement price for the Russell? That could be a nasty few minutes given how thin the trading is....

Sigh... It doesn't say it anywhere. If you have been using the product you would know that it has been dead in the water for quite awhile. If you downloaded the beta you would note that it has a 2005 copyright on it. I'll let you work out the rest...

Note I said worth watching. :) The fact that they are upgrading the product after a couple of years of silence seems quite positive to me. We'll just have to wait and see...

My $.02: 1. OPM makes managers careless 2. Low returns YTD makes hedge fund managers in particular nervous. They are grabbing alpha any way they can. 3. GSPAN has created an environment where there is no "Fed" risk. The various government agencies are pouring out "understated" numbers...

While I didn't get caught it was only because I overrode the system in question. There's been a lot of that kind of stuff of late. It's almost like someone sat there and said: "Everyone is short because oil went out at the high. Let's nail them into the close." ...and they had the money to do...

Well, there is always the fat finger possibility -- still real orders just not intentional orders. In this case, it was kind of weird the way the bids just seem to have disappeared. A thousand contracts is usually good for a 1 pt move 2 at most in ER2. And it could just be me not having...

Well, now that we broke that 665ish support you kind of have to. Could be nothing more than nervousness for the rest of the day but...we may close nearer to there than farther from it.

Where did you see that?

Not sure but I don't think the current deficit includes the cost of the war on terror/Iraq. I know the projections don't include that or the tax cuts, Medicare and Social Security deficits. This talk of better or worse about the current deficit is all a pipe dream when the other stuff is...

As far as I know that's correct.
