    Iterative Refinement

re: fan vs. BO I took Spyder's comments to mean increasing volume at some point after the BO. Obviously if you have the channel drawn correctly, it will be at the RTL. I think some room should be given in case you dont have the exact channel drawn in.. See pic below

    hmmm... 14:55 bar peak volume?

The order of the cells and the placement of them on the chart seem to suggest that we are in some kind of very shallow down channel to me... Unless of course we skip some cells or go in a different order from here.

Can you quote his actual response? I have the same thing you guys do. Perhaps it's not a 'new' traverse, as a fan (decelerated) traverse is considered the same traverse iirc. Just cant be sure...

Ahh yes, you got me. I recall his post saying there were no down traverses for the day. Perhaps this was a case of inadvertent fractal jumping However, to the other post about differentiating between the three times, I did not yet have a pt3 established at the time those occured. 2...

Long at whatever point you see fit Short at 14:05 on pennant FBO Long at 14:50 jokari window? (RTL bounce) Exit on close the way I see it anyway

Did you miss Spydertrader posting the 3 main traverse change signals? I am going to stick with the ones he posted for now... I cant be too concerned with tape level change at this point, too deep for my preference... There are also some items listed that 'can/may' be change... I like to...

    Sounds right

Seems like jokari window to me. Incr. red volume, yet price closes higher. Also, incr volume w/ decr volatility would not be an action point at this fractal, if im not mistaken

IIRC, this hints at an upcoming trend day. Although Im not sure that is what Spyder is trying to communicate here

I always find this hard to determine, although it should be easy IMO. Since everything bleeds together, it is kind of difficult to distinguish the end of one and the beginning of a new one. For instance, in the snip above, is the brown and blue traverse two seperate traverses, or the same one...

    Iterative Refinement

I found this snippet very interesting and I thought a walk through might be helpful. As a disclaimer, this is just my thought process and there very well could be serious errors in logic here. Hopefully I will be corrected if so and it would be nice to spark some beneficial discussion. This...

This seems a little off as well, increasing volume sure, but confirming dominant direction down? It was a 1 pt doji bar

    Iterative Refinement

The 'pennant' also had increasing volume on the 2nd bar ... HMMM

lol ... Spyder I think it's time we get some sleep Huge thanks for everything , I'll give it some more work over the weekend Thanks to ehorn and John as well, hope to do it again soon

    Iterative Refinement

Ok... So the proper action points for the traverse level today were to enter short at pt3 around 10:10 and exit on close? This seems to be a higher 'more coarse' resolution that I had anticipated. For a strange reason, I find it easier to spot signals of change on lower fractals much easier...

    Iterative Refinement

I was thinking that if we had a traverse materialize with a BO of the bottom of this enormous lateral, that we would in fact have a channel? down traverse/lateral movement/down traverse It seems that you are saying that once a breakout occurs, we will have completed a traverse. Is this due...

This was a pennant FBO correct?
