I have some courses lying around here that I'm getting rid of. I'll invoice buyers through PayPal. $5 Shipping and handling for each order (I'm sure it's more, but whatever, that's all I'll charge). If you're interested shoot me a PM and we'll take it from there:

What about the NFA guide to disclosure documents, which can be downloaded from their website? Basically tells you everything you're required to include....
Do you know who provides Yahoo's pricing data? If it's Capital IQ as some of their pages suggest (although this may only be for fundamentals)...then it's pretty damn good data. The feed would be from S&P, and this is what a lot of hedge fund managers I know use (Capital IQ that is). I'm not...
Use ML Dowloader from www.trading-tools.com . It does US and international and gives it to you in Metastock and ASCII. It's like $60 USD or something (one time fee, no monthly charge). Gets data from Yahoo, MSN, or other sites. Check it out. Very useful tool. I love it...
buy the rumor sell the news? I mean if my friend knew GS's deals were bad, and he doesn't care anything about their stock, how much more did the competing i-bank trading desks know that GS was going to come in poorly and accordingly positioned themselves ahead of time....
I have a friend at UBS who was saying to me the other day that GS has screwed up a bunch of equity IPOs lately. Their bids are coming in below market on their roadshows, but it's only happening to GS. Don't know if that's affecting their stock, but if they get a short-term rep for having bad...
Absolutely no offense to Hoodoo, but I have used Macs, Win 95, Win 98, Win NT, Win XP Pro...and by far Win98 was the absolute worst.
You really should get a new computer...preferably loaded wth XP Pro.
From my brief research it appears that some company has made a screener and that several of the web portal sites are private labeling it:
Yahoo, MSN, perhaps SmartMoney, etc.
if you are willing to pay something then you can look at Zacks, which starts at roughly $1k a year. It is more...
I barely know any VBA, so please forgive my ignorance, but it seems like you could use it to accomplish this. Perhaps name the cell an array and then run some code that checks the cell and or plays a sound if it meets your criteria.
I have heard that 80% of health care costs are caused by smoking and people being overweight. It would seem that preventative medice would go a long way on both counts.
I have to disagree that health care costs are driven up by doctors. As I understand it (and I have physicians in my family...
I have both Metastock and Tradestation and like TS better (more flexible). Right now, however, I think I'm going to learn VB.net so I can roll everything into that...
I'm trying to run some simple VBA using the Hoadley plugin in excel. I'm trying to simply return the HoadleyHistoricVolatility. I'm using the following and it isn't computing. Anyone have some thoughts?
Sub Trial()
Dim result As Double
result = HoadleyHistoricVolatility("C", 0, 0...
I have one of these. I think the door was $40 and then I bought two filing cabinets -- one for each side. So all in, it was probably $140 - $240. Quite solid. I'm thinking about custom making my own desk though....
I think part of the problem on the futures side was fixed by connecting directly to the exchanges -- there may still be lags, but I know that this was supposed to solve some of the issue.
I could be wrong, but this is one of the oldest types of textbook arb examples used (aside from the buy gold in NY, simultaneously sell it in London, or whatever). As such, I would be surprised if opportunities still existed. Who knows though...
