Ninja Zen no more unfiltered data?

Sierra chart gets DTN IQFeed historical bid/ask data for some $30 a month... What else do people need to build cheap CVD ? Why is NT should be in the picture all the time? I just dont get it.. I hate Sierra as a software and I like NT for C# but for historical bid/ask there is nothing...

    Chabah on Automated Trading Redux

I am just curious.. You like the Taleb opus that much (which says - all the statistical based analysis is rubbish) and in the same way you put your 401K money into a system based on conventional statistical TA tools (those tools - in the whole world the only few polar bears and the blind panda...

    Fast Internet outside colo?

You shouldnt worry. You have what we call in Europe leased line and this is routing made by wire not by networking devices (modems/cisco router). $500 for simmetrical 100Mbs!! this is super-duper price. In London an individual can buy up to 2Mbs and will pay around £2000 for that (may be...

Sorry I cannot figure out what is the problem exactly with Windows based systems under 50ms? Could you please clarify. Is this graph demonstrate deviation of the system clock (red: price processed on your system) from what you expect it to be (blue: price sent from CME)? Are you saying...

Low Latency Tick Feed less than $1,500 per month

DD2 talks complete sense. Holmes at al merely fantasizing about things they dont know. Like trading or software engineering. Holmes - nobody uses databases to access margins. It is all in RAM and takes microseconds (same microseconds you and all other delusional neurotics from ET trying to...

Any advice on how to get a good discount on CQG ?

ET has no moderation so I am moderating my own threads. If your post does not answer the question, it is off-topic. I cant delete you but I can tell you off.. So read my lips - no useful information - fuck off. If I needed an advice on fast cars or self-control or impoving my trading - I'd...

Ninja + Zenfire vs Ninja + TT feed

I think what is happening there is an STA model. To be able to display any information in the Windows UI you have to marshal call from any processing thread (like a thread which just has received a price update message) to the very same thread you created the window in. But again - this...

Ninja + Zenfire vs Ninja + TT feed

for a proper application 700 events/sec is a large number but not a killer. And having single thread to receive messages is 80s design. This is why my joke about "developers considering a better software" has a good real piece of advice. Anyway it is way off topic. But thanks for the...

Ninja + Zenfire vs Ninja + TT feed

But you can have several message loops. And also from my understanding there is no real use for a system pumping out 700 price/position/volume/whatever updates a second.... So the challenge is not to display 700+ but coalesce it in sensible and efficient way....

Ninja + Zenfire vs Ninja + TT feed

are you reffering to this? "The number of times that a single topic can be updated seems to be limited by the number of times that Excel checks for Microsoft Windows® messages, which is at most 700 times per second. Since some of the messages have higher priority than RTD does, Excel...
