You can really see this on the US overnight. Price moves for seemingly random reasons. Until you look closer and it is just the bots sweeping up the tight stops of traders.

TA is many things to many people. If used properly, it can help uncover the “Best of the Best” trade entries to take. I use Fib levels for support and resistance and extensions for targets in the context of wave form analysis (not Elliott Wave). I combine this with a couple of moving averages...

For futures, sometimes you can get clues from the T&S, but if you are only looking for say 20+ contract orders on the NQ, you may miss the 30 that get iceberged in 1-2 at a time. Watching the complete T&S can *sometimes* give you an idea.

I think we see 2450-2490 in the next 18 months or even by the fall of 2016. Corresponds to 245-249 SPY, then I think the party is over and it gets cut in half. But...who really knows for sure :)

You should take a look. It trends nicely and moves better than the ES most days. At $20 a point you need to use more contracts, but it allows for great scale in/out opportunities on good trend days. Today was a nice 38 point move that started right before the open if you held it all day...
