Again I'm left shaking my head -- in so many other cases where I'm much more liberal with stop placement, giving it lots of room, the market seems to take that room and push the bounds of where it wants to retrace. Here, however, a simple tick under 1350 would have had me at least still long...

out at 50 for +3.76 per unit I really would like to stay in, but with Greece news pushing this up and a failure to push higher than the consolidation centered at 51, I think the market may have to auction lower to find buyers again, OR more credit swap news must be released. In other words...

stop to 50 on final unit, almost certain to stop out unless it really spikes here, but don't want to risk missing +4 to gain another +6 which is already a bit optimistic

2nd target taken at 50.75 stop on final unit to 49.00 edit: make that 46 (BE) ... will just see if this is strong enough to make it to 58 later in the day

filled at 49 for +3 on 1 stop at 46.25 on remaining 2 targets 51.75, and 58.00

added 1 and looking to take that off around 49 stop to 45.50 on other 2 targets above 51.75 and 58.00

added, reduced, and scalped my way to a +0.01 (yes that's right) per contract on this .. what a crappy day, down for the day and couldn't be happier to see it coming to a close. Of course I did not post since the entry so unconfirmed, so call it a loss if you like for journal integrity purposes.

I'm in no way saying it's a good idea to buy and not be short, but today's RTH is not characteristic of trend at all. Perhaps it will break down and become a double-dist day, but as of now the activity has not been trending, it has been simply balancing. Likelihood is that it will break down...
