Does anybody trade FCOJ on ICE?

yeh...ag forums are just like the ag pits...we all give each other hell from time to time, but we're a close knit bunch... As far as OJ goes...the thinness CAN work to your advantage at times, but one thing to note is that setting "hard" stops is near impossible, as OJ tends to fakeout a lot...

    Indicators or Internals?

I agree with Sandy...internals lag and tend to follow the market. BUT, I do keep track of them, but more as a confirmation tool and a tool to use to keep out of bad trades (fighting the trend). I find internal data is more useful though in finding divergences in intra-day trading to stay with...

    Class III Milk

just curious if anybody else out there trades this contract. I've dabbled in the electronic before...very similar to the pork bellies volume wise..but the spreads aren't just ridiculous. Just kind of thought of it again today when the DFA verdict came down from the CFTC today. So..am I...

why is there a huge price difference between future price and cash price?

various things...basis, your purchase points' "in and out" fee (what they sell the grain for over the amount they buy it for), etc. For instance in my area (Texas Panhandle): March Corn: 375.00, Avg Basis: +.10 = 3.85 per bushel. Elevator avg "in and out" fee: $.50 = cost for me to...

    Laptops and Tick Charts

I am not much of a tech guy at all...I likely get laughed at by tech support people in fact. I currently trade off of a desktop with three monitors, but am wanting to get a laptop for use when traveling...mostly just to check on positions, but want the ability to make some trades as well. I...

    Going to ThinkorSwim

you can, but just like transfering open stock positions, its more hassle than its worth...especially considering the volatility in today's market.

    Bullish & Bearish Factors

Hangin Man pattern happens at the top of a trend/swing, not at the bottom....what you have there is a bottoming tail....which if violated offer just as powerful a pattern as they normally would...just in the opposite direction

    2 more banks down

Wow..they shut the bank in Sanderson down! I'm from Texas, and have been to that area...right on the border basically. Sanderson is maybe 900 people, surrounded by rocky scrub ranchland....must've been some folks defaulting on their $1700 per acre hunting ranches. Ha ha....1 cow per 100 acres...

Are you going to fade Bush at 11:30am?

Well...I guess Obama will make things better with his obvious new plan for fixing Social Security and welfare programs. Allow and encourage every type of abortion imaginable...who knows maybe we can kill enough babies to make sure in 80 years Social Security isn't a problem. Don't start on...
