I have IB... I think I downloaded QT before.... but I don't think QT has tick by tick... or is it IB that doesn't have...

sierrachart seems affordable... if I want to play with my demo account in IB, do I just log in through sierrachart with my IB username and password? I'm assuming when I begin trading through sierrachart, this will have no affect on my real account. can anyone confirm this?

I'm new trading and would like to know why do a lot of people use e-signal. It seems pretty expensive to me. Are there indicators that traders rely on that can't be found elsewhere?

can you please post comparisons between execution of a contract with average lag time in relationship to the size of the contract and in which futures (eg. ES, YM, ER2, NQ)? an example on average 1 ES contract <1 sec 10 ES contracts <12 sec or 5 NQ contracts < 3 sec 20 NQ...

if not warren buffet, why doesn't a fund manager just take over the futures market?

okay, I understand your point.... but most of us here are trading futures and use the leverage to make huge profit. Why wouldn't fund managers like warren buffet hire people to trade small portions of his overall funds into the futures we trade to multiply profit at least to the point that...

do you think with all the retailers making profit trading ES and other index futures, would a fund manager like Warren Buffet ever think about spreading out his $$$ into future contracts and take the profit from the little guys?? If this is not possible, what is stopping him or any other fund...

warren buffet says, it's easier to make larger gains with smaller money... and harder with large amounts of money... can anyone try to guess or elaborate on this... is he just refering to excess volume? are hedge fund managers allowed to throw all their money into one stock or futures at one...

i read that unlike stocks where execution is based on size of the order, futures orders are executed on a first come, first served basis....and the market maker isn't working against you.
