Not yet. But when Eurex USA starts trading I will give it a try. We are going to become clearing members so we will have a big saving in costs hopefully that will make it worth my while. But I still have alot to learn and think it will take me a while of playing around with spreads to see if...
I use the depth of market window alot. Once i get in a trade my eyes are on it until i get some wiggle room. Then I constantly look back and forth between it and my charts.
I don't trade a constant # of contracts and 3 years ago I was trading mostly NAZ and ES. The DAX has been something that I have taken a liking to over the year and a half.
When I was trading the ES my average size was about 10 lots and in my size in the NAZ over the last 3 years has...
SAP, SIE, and DBK are my favorites. I do watch DTE, ALV, DCX, and BAS also. SAP, SIE, and DBK they move faster then DTE with its lower share price. That's what I have observed at least
IT TOOK ME YEARS TO EVOLVE INTO MY STYLE OF TRADING. DON"T TRY TO START SCALPING LIKE MAD.
MY INTENTION IS NOT TO GET NEWBIES TO START TRADING THE DAX, IT IS TO HAVE TRADERS WHO ARE ALREADY TRADING THE DAX PICK UP SOME OF THE THINGS I DO.
First of all a newbie DAX scalper should not be doing 100 rt's a day. I said this in an earlier post and I will say it again. IF YOU ARE NEW TO TRADING YOU SHOULD TRADE LESS NOT MORE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE 100 RT'S A DAY.
ALSO IF YOU ARENEW TO TRADING THE DAX DON"T TRY IT UNLESS YOU HAVE...
yes that is correct. But if say you want trade eurex at night and log off and back on to the CME to trade durring the day you can do that for $500. For $750 you can be logged into any 2 exchanges at once.
My worst draw dawn pt. scalping over the last 3 years has been about $25K. Although in my first couple years trading I did some stupid stuff and had bigger losses then that in a day.
I started out as more of an intra day position trader(first couple years) and evolved into a scalper. It...
I think that anyone starting out trading shouldn't risk more then 2% of there capital in a given trade. However as you get more experienced and build a cusion of profits I don't think it is unreasonable to take that a little higher. However if you experience a draw down should lower his risk...
Man Financial offers J-trader and Trading Technologies. I have no idea why you think they are a slow interent broker. They are one of the largest clearing firms, and do huge business on Eurex.
I don't believe its possible to use an auto system for scalping the DAX.
Just because I don't think its possible doesn't mean it can't be done. If you have an idea play with it. Systems trading is not my thing so I'm probably not the best person to talk to about them.
Most scalping...
If you are new to trading the DAX I would use at least $5k for every one contract you trade.
I don't trade the EUROSTOXX they move to slow for my likes.
I don't trade the SMI or the CAC or the bund.
I like the DAX because I can watch it top commponents and get an extra little feel...
For a beginner I would recommend using PATS J-Trader for order execution, Esignal for charts and an account of at least 10K. If you are just going to be trading the DAX 1-2 lots at a time I would go with Man Financial, GNI, or Goldenberg Heymeyer as your broker. I wouldn't use an introducing...
In the first 30 min I trade off price action alone(also look and the big DAX componets action) and support and resistance. I have about 5-6 scenarios I come up with before the day starts. I go with which ever one starts to play out after the first 30-60 min of trading.
I don't trade diveregnces with the U.S. markets.
I just got used to Keltner channels 6 years ago someone showed me them and I have been using them since. They expand and contract as a function or range, so they don't get all out of whack after bigs move like Bollinger bands do.
