Why does this sound like another Marketsurfer loaded question. In just a few pages, I bet this Preston Forbes will suddenly have a strong opinion and an axe to grind.

Problem with that is the context of the $TICK extreme. In a sideways market, most of the time it will be good for a few ticks, but when it skids, it really skids. Take last Friday morning for instance. No sellers to be found and TICK can drive that thing parabolic. It's still a decent...

    Cramer at Harvard...

I agree with Tradingbug. Top private schools and prep schools are more demanding that your run of the mill public school. The course offerings are typically more advanced and the competition between students is more intense due to a smaller student body. You also eliminate alot of the...

LOL, just remembering that scene is pretty hysterical. I have to say the most memorable scene is with John Turturro threatening Goodman and Bridges at the bowling alley. Then Goodman with the final comment "8 year olds dude". Such great dialogue.

You act as if they would have a good solid TEAM if he were to just dump the ball off on his cast of mediocre teammates. Smush Parker, Luke Walton, Chris Mihm, Kwame Brown, etc...These guys aren't going to cut it. I think Devean George is a reasonable player, Bryan Cook is decent and of course...

QQQQ is not exempt from downtick rule anymore…?!

I distinctly remember this same issue about 1 year ago. Many people were complaining that all of the popular ETF's were suddenly hard to borrow. Of course at that time we were well into a pretty severe downtrend off of that first week of January 2005.

    Japan melting down?

Not the sort of headlines one would anticipate as the Nikkei had been in its parabolic uptrend. These are more reminiscent of the sort of doom and gloom, fearful headlines we saw over here in 2001-02 and part of 03.
