IB, hands down. I just started with them and am blown away by how good it is.

With any luck, IB can integrate and work out some discount with MetaStock QuoteCenter. Anyone have a review of MetaStock QuoteCenter? The official review only has one response.

Funny, I have a new account with IB, and started trading with it today as well. I could not be happier with the execution. Even right after the FOMC announcement. Extremely fast, and good quality fills.

Hopefully IB will be around for the next year eh? I've opened an account at IB and put in an initial deposit. I'll test drive them for a bit. if it's good, I'll put in the rest of my money. if not, I'll open an account with MB and try them out

tough choice indeed. I'm weighing the commission savings at IB. I probably trade 700-1000 option contracts a month. which would be a savings of $175 to $250 difference in commission savings a month at IB vs MB trading. That would buy pretty much any data feed/platform out there. I'm leaning...

looks like they don't offer option trading? which is a deal breaker because half my trades are options. too bad, looked promising.

Thanks for the feedback Frank and Kiwi. I see the only "all in one" platforms offered for IB are Esignal and Quotetracker. MB Trading has also DTNIQ, Instaquote, and others.

IB is Java, which I think is a resource hog MB is windows based and seems to offer many more 3rd party front-end vendor choices which should I pick? their commissions are comparable.

they screwed me on some option executions this week. ie 10 cents on 10 contracts = $100... and it's not the first time.
