I'm inclined to agree, but for short term only. All three futures are at the tops of their trading channels. Institutional selling is done for the year, so downside pressure won't be strong.

Or you can enter on TICK divergence as seen below. ES made two lower lowers after the 10:15EST low, both on DECREASING volume and WITHOUT volume spikes upon each breakdown, and the micro consolidation from 11:17 to 11:29 (memorize that formation when followed by a volumeless lower low. It will...

ES finished flat. YM finished down just a tick. Hmmmmmmm. Question (and I don't have the answer) for the masses: How often do the futures finish flat (and SnP for that matter) on OpEx days? And why?

Attached is the channel for trading I drew this morning using Monday's AH low and Tues AH low as the bottom of the channel. Sure enough, we ran out of steam at the top of the channel. I shorted 39 down to mid-channel 33. Yesterday's one tick ES expansion said it all, however. Clearly no buyers...

For FOMC, flat is where it's at. Price can whipsaw 20+ pts, and getting filled for entry / exit is next to impossible.
