Yes it is. You will not have any issues. That is the setup I use. I have used both the trial and the paid for NT and the only difference is you can do live trading with the subscription.

Good luck. I would recommend sim trading for at least a few weeks to make sure your strategy is at least profitable. After that move to live trading. No reason to risk your money unless you know what you are doing works. Just my two cents.

You gotta admit signing up and setting up one of those sites to prove yourself is a lot of work for someone that is already profitable. Why waste time?

Curious, why only one position at a time? Due to market correlation? What about if one position was short and one was long at the same time?

I am not a paper trader and I also do not see anything wrong with believing what an anonymous posts. If they succeed or fail it makes no difference to me. I dont believe everyone on this site but turning $1500 into $4000 is not so far fetched that it is not believable.
