Great to know this went smoothly as I for one am contemplating moving a chunk of money to Velocity. As yet I've not seen anyone from Europe comment on their use of X-trader etc. Anyone out there happier with VF than IB? Q1

Velocity Futures is not listed as a Class A Clearing Member on the CME website. They are not members of LIFFE or Eurex in any capacity (ie not even NCM). But that's not the issue...!

There's no static list of "releases" that the market watches all the time long term. The focus changes over time. Of course US releases are the most important generally but the UK and European news can bite you if you don't know it. I've even been bitten by German Bund auction...

If you want to buy the bid you have to wait for someone else to accept your price and sell to you. If you buy the ask the roles are reversed.

ignore them...all that matters is your net expectation. if you average you end up with stats like 75% winners and AveWin:AveLoss ration of 0.5. ie YOU STILL MAKE MONEY AS LONG AS ITS IN YOUR PLAN. Most of the trading truisms spouted by idiots on this board are intended for trend following...
