That sound like a good trade risk/reward if you are looking for over a point profit on the short. They are at resistance but since they are also trending up nicely I'd also reverse with a buy stop if they break out on volume......

I know that Ravenquote lets you create these alerts in quotesheets for any time frame and I'm sure other programs also let you. There is no macro/plugin for this so you have to manually create the parameters for each particular formation.

My advice is to trade Emini Nasdaq100 and S&P500 futures before/instead of trading options. Also single stock futures supposedly can start trading at the earliest, Dec 21,2001, but probably next year. If they have a lot of volume, that might be an option.

Last week I had grey lines up and down my screen. I tested all the settings and hooked up other monitors to test it and the problem was still there. So I replaced the Video card and that solved the problem.

It seems to me that indicators are just abstracts and ways of easily correlated various information that the markets generate and which you might not percieve just by looking at the Time/sales. Just like candlestick charts are simple indicators of price action, other indicators get more complex...

I was thinking of my broker and others that give you island "market" orders by bidding a lot higher than lowest offer(buys) and offering a lot lower than highest bid(sells).

It depends on if he directly routes his market order through ISLD. If he does he should buy your 1000 shares. If he places the order through a regular broker/online he probably won't buy your shares depending on the Market makers discretion and intentions.(and his brokers routing process)

Miki, You should filter your Time and Sales to only show Trades that take place. This will cut out the confusion and noise you are seeing. You can always go back to the default when you feel like it. I set my Time/Sales to only show trades with "at or above the ask" coded GREEN. At or...
