Asus Zenscreen as 2nd screen for laptop or similar

I use a Cocopar 17.3 Inch Portable Monitor. I paid $350 but it now listed for $399 on Amazon. Outstanding picture, the 17.3 is much more readable than the usual 15 inch portable monitor, and it runs off USB-C power so I only need one multi-port Anker power adapter to power all my travel devices.

A Record Number Of Immigrants Have Become Billionaires In The U.S.

22% of Canadians are immigrants vs 13.7% of Americans, so the percentage among Canadian billionaires is probably higher. BTW, did anyone notice that the percentage of immigrant billionaires in the USA at 13% almost exactly matches the 13.7% of American that are immigrants?

Why Americans haven't been convinced on cryptocurrency

I am fully aware of what the FED does. I have a degree in Economics and I have made my living for the past 14 years trading news and economic events. I was simply responding to the poster who said he had problems dealing with the FED, by stating that I have never personally know anyone who had...

In my entire life, neither I nor anyone I know has ever had to deal with the FED. Please explain how you are dealing with the FED.

Looking to start writing covered calls. Any good resources?

@Snuskpelle is correct. Long term, writing covered calls consistently underperform the S&P index. Do some basic research. Go to Yahoo Finance and compare any covered call ETF, such as PBP, and compare the 1-, 2- and 5-year performance vs SPY. https://tinyurl.com/yc6pms3t If all you want is...

As Matt said, fortune favors the brave

For a few thousand dollars, most people would just give it back. But for $10+ million, a lot of people would think of changing their name and disappearing with the money.

As Matt said, fortune favors the brave

The law is quite clear. If a financial institution, ATM, or whatever accidentally gives you too much money, it is not yours to keep. Usually they just kindly request that you return the money. If not it is considered theft.

    Profitable tech ETFs

The closest fit for your needs are probably the tech dividend ETFs, TDIV and TDV. If any of the component companies pay a dividend, then they are probably profitable.

Peter Schiff: Somebody Has To Pay For Student Loan Forgiveness

I agree. Public universities should be free, because a) the state and federal governments are already paying more than half the cost of running these universities; b) it will force down the cost of private universities since they now have to compete with free universities.

UK electricity bills to rise by 80% Socialism in Action

Another example of free market energy rates soaring is Texas. According to the Dallas Morning News, the average residential rate in Texas for June 2022 is 18.48 cents per kilowatt hour. Compared to June 2021, that's a 10.5-cent increase. That's a 76% increase, very close the UK's 80% increase.

Are option trades a zero-sum game?

Sorry but that is incorrect. If someone sells a stock at a profit, then, assuming it wasn't sold short, the original seller has only lost the OPPORTUNITY to make more money. Another way of looking at it - assume 90% of the market's investors are long and the market goes up 2% tomorrow, then...

Are option trades a zero-sum game?

Unlike the options and futures markets, the stock market is not a zero sum game. It is very possible for all investors in the stock market to make money, or for all to lose money. On fact, over the long term the majority of investors in the stock market make money. Note that I said INVESTORS...

Poor Warren .... Berkshire Hathaway B ... Wave 3 down has begun

You can't compare Bershire to QQQ or any other hi-tech ETF. BRK has very few hi-tech holdings other than Apple. BRK's target has always been undervalued stocks, not high growth.

Poor Warren .... Berkshire Hathaway B ... Wave 3 down has begun

YTD SPY down 9.9%; BRK.B down 0.6% For past 2 years (since start of pandemic), SPY up 26%, BRK.B up 43% Looks to me like Buffett is still on his game.

    I don't get the Dividend Game :-)

I will let you figure out the answer to your own question but posing another question -- If the market cap drops after each dividend payout, why doesn't the stock price of all dividend paying stocks eventually go to zero?
