There is a lot of corn man, planting went well and it's looking like a good crop. Yields were revised down but so was usage, pretty low risk imo.

I just re-read your post I apologize I got it wrong. I missed the q/z spread by a few ticks and never chased about two weeks ago, woulda coulda shoulda. Margin on an ng spread is around a grand, those deffered spreads are super thin, I'd stay away with that little cash if it were me. I have...

Boy I wouldn't touch cl:ng with a ten foot pole with 10 k. You could be much much better doing a mini crude against 2 mini ng. Not advising you to trade it, but if you decide you want to I'd stay the hell out of the big contracts with anything less than 100 g. Good luck, I'm more of an ag guy...

J-law has it right! mrci.com offers a free two week trial I believe, and the yearly price is pretty good, considering all the stuff you get. I get Jerry Toepke's weekly spread emails, it's only a 100 a year or something and he writes a good commentary on a couple of spreads each week, I rarely...

slack demand, h1n1 was a real kick in the pants for the swine complex. God the pig spreads have been $ lately though. I hate directional trading the meats, I occasionally do some hedging with the feeders but it's pretty rare anymore.

•Homebuilder Confidence in U.S. Unexpectedly Declines in June In NAHB Market Index

What state are you in S? I'm from Wyoming, and the WCDA (Wyoming Community Development Association) came up with some loan programs for essential occupations (police, fire, teachers, medical, military et al) with the loan amount cap of 237,000 and some income limitations, but the interest rates...

    Corn, Beans

Weather is and always will be an issue. Sure the funds play a much larger role than they used to. Remember wheat's run in 07 the weather was the match that lit that flame, sure there was a lot of momentum buying. But we never would have had 7.00 wheat plus in summer of 07 without all the...

I can't imagine a brokerage firm eating a client's losses through a $50.00 advice fee. Nobody is that good at grain trading :)

Just do it on your own man, save the dough. Did you look anymore into spread trading? I would highly recomend it. July/Aug Beans has been trading in a beautiful range for a week now, margins are less and risk is hedged quite a bit more than outrights. I wish you the best.

MArgin on a natty spread is around 1000 bucks. That is the beauty of spreads man, extremely low margin versus outrights. RBOB spreads vcost me 250 to put on which is humorous considering corn spreads cost the same thing.
