Sorry for asking again, mart went down again, can't sleep again, what do you do?

Melatonin is the hormone the body releases associated with sleep. You can get it in tablet form to help sleep - Its natural, and non-addictive and works a treat for me whenever I'm travelling in different timezones, jetlagged and struggling to get my sleep cycle right. You can get it in...

My Dells have been running 24/7 for years - only time they go off is for upgrades. There is a school of thought amongst IT guys that switching PC's on and off is bad for them anyway and can cause reliability problems through component stress with all the bits getting hot and then cooling off...

    Measuring Execution Speed

yes - ppl often get this confused - the ping time is the transit time from your comp to your broker - the order latency is how long the broker then takes to process your order, risk assess it against your account, send it off to the exchange, confirm fill and send it it back on its way to your...

    Trading from Europe

the physical distance from the exchange will be the main factor affecting latency - the transatlantic hop typically takes 60-70ms when I've analysed my own traceroutes from home, for a total ping time of around 120ms using a cable connection and a US based brokerage. The best latency for CME...

    Arcades in London

I was trading at Marex/Refco till christmas. Nice office with good facilities, excellent IT and a great back office team. Marex are probably one of the best arcades in London, but as dogfish said, they can hence afford to be choosy who they train and back.
