aah, i bet thats front month volume only, whereas IPE will be counting all contracts volume like Nymex does for WTI

me too, unless they are counting the complex strategies volume seperately - ie: exchange quoted calendar spreads, flys etc, that'd possibly account for volume of that ilk

is that all session, or just the WTI open hours? on the ICE website, yesterday Wed 8th is showing for 44k contracts, does that match with your TWS figures?

On Tuesday this week, ICE WTI future did over 46,000 contracts!

insight, how do you import the data for analysis into your spreadsheet? do you get it from your trading app, or download from your clearers website? Presumably your spreadsheet is written such that it would only work with the data if it is presented in one of the above formats?

Refco is a division of Man in name only... Man purchased the assets rather than the shares, so accounts are held with Man now, and not with Refco as a seperate legal entity. So by all means, use Man or use "Refco division" whatever gets your goat, your money is with the company Man Financial.
