    vaccine found

There is no such thing as a vaccine for a rapidly mutating virus. By the time a vaccine is ready for the initial virus, it has mutated into a resistant strain. They have to stop making vaccines for viruses as it just encourages and speeds up resistant mutations. And to the OP - stop...

Big-3 "Pay2Play" Prop Firms and the COVID-19 crisis?

"If a "firm" is set out to make more money by selling tests than the trading success of real funded traders then certainly it raises questions .. IMHO then it means such a "firm" will be more interested in churning test newbees than funding real traders.... a simple logical conclusion." I don't...

6 months TopStep 50K Net Profits

Thanks for the explanation - I haven't read their website thoroughly - I assumed that the Combines and funded criteria were the same. Anyway, nice trading - continued good performance!

6 months TopStep 50K Net Profits

Correction, I see you went for the $150,000 account. But that profit target is $9,000 per their website. Is there another program that isn't advertised? Thanks.

Hi - I noted in one of your posts that the TST criteria for a $50,000 account states $5,000 PT, $3,000 Daily loss limit. On their website, they advertise that a $50,000 account is $3,000 PT and $1,000 daily loss limit. Is this a different program that you're on? Thanks

    How much to withdraw ?

If you treat your trading as a business, you should pay yourself a salary. No different than any other business venture. But first, cover your investment. If you put up $5,000 to trade, take the first $5,000 in profit out and invest it elsewhere - like a savings account or something...

Passed the SMB Futures tryout in 15 days

"The trailing drawdown only protects the firm from loss once the trader reaches a minimum profit threshold." I think that's what I said - the trader is essentially funding their own account and providing a cushion against loss for you. Clear as mud at your website.

Passed the SMB Futures tryout in 15 days

It's the Federal Trade Commission who governs websites like this - guy at CFTC said if no money was lost, they may not be interested but will take a look.

Passed the SMB Futures tryout in 15 days

The bottom line is they're not funding anyone. The trailing draw down protects them from loss. If you're in a trade and you hit that draw down, I presume they exit the trade for you so as not to incur additional loss. Not at all transparent.

Your wife or whoever is going to open an account with them will need a separate bank account for deposit. Not hard to do. These guys have a nice scam running.

Passed the SMB Futures tryout in 15 days

It looks like Earn2Trade does about the same thing. I just went on their Chat and tried to extract an answer from the person. Practically impossible - clear as mud. I copied the transcript. These companies actually take no risk at all - the traders are funding their own accounts. Totally...

Passed the SMB Futures tryout in 15 days

Well here's a solution: After the account is closed when you withdraw the entire $5,000, have your wife or one of your kids open another account. You trade the account, make another $5,000 and withdraw. Rinse and repeat with different sign ups. If you have 10 signups and they all make...

Passed the SMB Futures tryout in 15 days

TST is running a scam with the "first $5,000 belongs to the trader". There's absolutely nothing at the website that indicates that an account would be closed if that $5,000 was withdrawn. Thank you for the clarification. I think this is an issue for the CFTC.

Congratulations on passing their test. Don't listen to the naysayers - keep charging. Let us know how you're doing.

    TopstepTrader withdrawals - any issues?

How can you withdraw $5,000 from a $150,000 account? That's the total amount of the account that they funded. If I made a profit of $5,000, the account balance would be $155,000. The first $5,000 is supposed to belong to the trader. If you withdraw it, you're back at $150,000. Can't have a...

    TopstepTrader withdrawals - any issues?

I understand your analysis and you're probably right. However, there is nothing at their website that indicates that they would close your account if you withdraw all your profits. I copy and pasted your analysis into their Q&A thread. However, no one has bothered to reply yet. If what you...

    TopstepTrader Q & A

I read this in another thread: "Be careful - in your funded account - if you withdraw your profits down to zero Topstep will close your account because they only offer a trailing drawdown and not a true fixed drawdown. Once you have made profits equal to your max drawdown - a trailing drawdown...

Out Today Market Making Scalping Manual

"Gary mentions that one of the things you will learn is "Utilizing Queue Position". But this is exactly what doesn't work these days in either CL or NQ or ES, and of course YM as well. Now what's left. Maybe the bonds? I don't know because I don't watch them and I have no idea how thick the...

It May Be the Biggest Tax Heist Ever. And Europe Wants Justice.

Perhaps governments and law makers at some level were involved. The laws may have been written intentionally ambiguous. Some still make the claim that cum-ex is perfectly legal. If the law can't be interpreted transparently without ambiguity, then the argument will remain open and those guys...
